Heart and Soul Music
Heart and Soul Music is the combined effort of Robert Goldstick, Lynda Richards, and Tugger (their delightful Scottish terrier). They started this enterprise to promote the use of high quality live music performances and appropriate recorded music in convalescent hospitals, nursing homes, and hospice care. Robert's observations come from his performances in nursing homes since 1993. Lynda's come from her experience as a Hospice social worker. Betty Jordan's Gospel Songwriting Site
Betty Jordan is from Southeastern Kentucky. She is married, a mother of one son, and a member of Southeastern Baptist Church in Gray, Kentucky. She has worked in the youth department, taught Sunday School, sang in church as a soloist and as a part of duets and trios. Born into a family who were musically inclined, Betty remembers having a great love for Gospel and Southern Gospel Music as far back as she can recall. As a child, she remembers sitting at her mama's knee singing the old hymns. Betty is currently co-writing approximately 30 songs with Harold Timmons, former pianist for the Hemphills and The Chuck Wagon Gang. Mike Abernathy Music
Mike Abernathy Sr. has performed gospel music for over 25 years with The Richmond Quartet, The Gospel Conquerors, and Solid Foundation Ministries. For the past eight years, he had been doing solo ministry, until serious illness forced him off the road for almost three years. The Lord has again opened the door and he is walking through to go as far as the Lord will allow. Jake Keasling
Jake Keasling has been playing Southern Gospel music for almost 30 years. He took his first piano lesson when he was 8 years old, and performed in public for the first time at the age of 10. He has played for several quartets and has traveled all over the Eastern U.S. He has been performing solo for the last 10 years. He currently performs with a back up singer, Howard Bowers, and sequences most of his own music. He records exclusively at Brickhouse Recording and has had one national release on Rejoice Records. This talented singer/songwriter/pianist is available for church services, benefits, fundraisers, indoor/outdoor festivals, and weddings. He also makes custom, made to order, Southern Gospel soundtracks for individuals when his time allows.
